IMPROvED has attained membership of the European Society for Biopreservation and Biobanking (ESBB). The ESBB is a society for people involved in the collection and storage of biological materials from all species. The society, a regional chapter of the ISBER (International Society for Biological and Environmental Repositories), is focussed on Europe, the Middle East and Africa and was founded in August 2010.
